Finding a way through the "ecolabel-minefield" is a big challenge for producers and consumers alike. Luckily the EU Ecolabel offers a straight forward answer: a logo that advertises a product's high environmental and fitness-for-use provenance, underpinned by criteria that are science based and independently determined by stakeholders across industry, third party verified, and a logo that people can trust. Revised Criteria for Tourist Accommodation adopted on 25th January 2017
After 3 years of development involving representatives of industry, government, environmental and consumer organisations revised criteria for Tourist Accommodation have been adopted by the Commission and published on the 2nd February.
