News: EU Ecolabel recognised above other other ecolabels

Recent Belgium study finds EU Ecolabel recognition with the general public (49%) higher than for all other ecolabels in Europe, except the Energy label.
Respondents claimed to make ecological purchases and that ecolabels play an important role in making a considered choice. More than 80% of respondents indicated that they trust the EU Ecolabel, particulary young people. Hence, the EU Ecolabel performed extremely well compared to other ecolabels - see chart. Only the Energy label scored better.
Revised EU Ecolabel criteria for Lubricants published
The revised criteria for Lubricants were adopted on 8th November 2018 as Commission Decision (EU) 2018/1702 and published in the EU's Official Journal on 13th November 2018.
Revised criteria for Graphic paper, Tissue paper & Tissue products published
The revised criteria for Graphic paper, Tissue paper and Tissue products were adopted on 11th January 2019 as Commission Decision (EU) 2019/70 and published in the EU's Official Journal on 17th January 2019.
